What is Rose Petal Soft Orchard Grass?

Rose Petal Soft Orchard Grass blends soft-cut Orchard Grass with dried rose petals for rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, and other small herbivores.

The botanical addition supports enrichment and foraging behavior, while the soft Orchard Grass base is easy on teeth and digestion.

Are rose petals safe for my rabbit or guinea pig?

Dried rose petals are a common botanical treat for small herbivores and are included here as a minor color and scent add-in to soft orchard grass.

As with any new food, introduce it gradually and watch for any reaction. This is a treat and enrichment topper, not a substitute for your pet's regular free-choice hay.

How much can I feed, and how often?

A small handful a few times a week to daily is plenty as an enrichment topper. Keep unlimited grass hay (Timothy or Orchard) available as your pet's everyday base.

Orchard Grass or Timothy version — which should I choose?

Both use the same dried rose petals — the difference is the hay base. Orchard Grass is sweeter, softer, and more fragrant on its own, even before the rose petals are added. Timothy has a classic grassy base and a slightly higher fiber range.

What is in this product, and how do I store it?

Ingredients: Soft Orchard Grass with dried rose petals (Rosa spp.)

Store in a cool, dry place with good airflow. Rose petals' scent and color fade with prolonged air exposure, so reseal the bag between uses to keep both longer.
